THE LOST FOREST CAMPING & GLAMPING RETREAT // 13th- 15th SEPTEMBER 2024

Welcoming Lauren's sixth yoga retreat held in the gorgeous Grizedale forest, in the heart of the Lake District.
This retreat is perfect for those that like to escape the city life, busy schedule with work and other commitments and take some time to spend it outdoors with family and friends. Each pod and yurt available has their very own campfire, so in the evening you will get to stargaze at night and snuggle under a blanket next to your very own crackling fire.

This two night weekend vegan yoga retreat includes yoga practices to help you feel at ease with your body, mind and soul. Ranging from restorative & yin yoga & Mediation, creative vinyasa flows and the famous ashtanga primary series. By combining various types of yoga this weekend, it will allow you to keep exploring the very nature of the beneficiaries of yoga, see where your favourites lie and start to understand the body and mind connection. This yoga retreat is suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced yogis!

There will also be a range of meditations for you to feast your mind on too, allowing the mind to escape from busy and fast thoughts and any negative emotions that may put the body under stress and anxiety. The theme of this year will be based upon the forest with noticeable citations from the nature that surrounds us in Grizedale.

Starting the weekend with an opening fire ceremony to set intentions, ignite our internal fire, clear unwanted energies & begin to reset and restore with a mystic meditation.

The food that will be provided this weekend will be all vegan and on Saturday night there will be a 3 course vegan meal out to a local restaurant a few short minutes away from the campsite called The Eagles Head. The meal is included in the price of the retreat and will be a great way to unwind from a day of yoga and to socialise with everyone.

STAY IN PODS - SLEEPS UP TO TWO

With this option you stay in Grizedale's pods!

Staying in these insulated wooden pods provides basic accommodation much in the way of a tent however they are much more cosier, warm and are a modest size with good headroom.
They have an interior floor area some eight feet wide by nine feet long and a forward projecting porch to provide some shelter if the doors are open.

The Pods have a raised area of timber decking area at the entry of the pod to be able to sit and enjoy the fire of an evening.

The POD is designed to be comfortable - the roofing material is designed to cut down the noise of heavy rain (hopefully it stays dry)!

The window and lockable French doors are double glazed to reduce condensation and provide sound insulation. There is a small, high level window in the back wall this not only provide light but will help keep the living space well ventilated and aid 'through draft' on hot summer days.
